First impression of this property when driving up is that the owners do not care or take care of this house. The outside had trees down, lawn overgrown, weeds growing up the house exterior walls, outside lights broken with glass all over, weeds way overgrown, broken down go cart in driveway, and all this was the outside. The interior was fine. Could use a deep clean and mold on ceiling in one of the bathrooms. The location is great. We usually stay on the bay side. We chose the estates because it’s one of our favorite neighborhoods as far as the area, the location, and looks of the houses. The inside of this house as far as the layout is a bit strange but it’s still nice inside. Just could use an update on some things. It’s pretty pricey so we definitely expected the outside to be better kept along with the inside on a few things. Contacted the management and they are nice and understanding but I think they couldn’t do anything with the outside because it’s up to the owners. Would not stay at this location again. I still have it 3-4 stars on a few things.

Thank you so much for the feedback. We apologize for the landscape mess. We explained the owner was in the process of switching lawncare and landscape companies, unfortunately the process to do this too much more time than expected. This was not up to Platinum standards by any means. We hope to be able to provide a better and stellar experience in the future for you and your family.

We have stayed in SanDestin for 8 times now. This house was the largest most accommodating for a large family that we have stayed in. The 2 living areas was very helpful. Double refrigerator space was needed as well. We would definitely stay here again. Our requirements are always sleeps at least 12 and 2 golf carts.

Very good location and plenty of space. The in-law suite and the upstairs we had to use fans. Communication was great and they came right on about the air. The linen in the in-law suite had what looked like blood stains on the bedding. They brought out more linen the next day.

Our family had a much-needed extended family vacation and this house was absolutely perfect! All of the kids had a blast in the upstairs game room playing basketball and Pac-Man, plus having two tv's upstairs was great so they could plug in their games. The back patio had plenty of seating for us all to sit out by the grill. We also loved having two living rooms so the kids could watch a movie in one and the adults could hang out in the other. Having two golf carts was also nice, so we could all split up and do our own things. When I called with a question about using the golf cart, they sent a maintenance man right away to show me how to use it. Our family has nothing but good things to say. Thank you for sharing your home with us to create so many wonderful memories!

The home is located a bit further than I thought from the beach, however, the home more than made up for it! This home is very spacious and easily held our large group! The furniture is lightly worn, which is perfect if you have kids, as it isn't pristine white. I would highly recommend staying here, the platinum agency was always helpful with all questions and made it super easy. I would definitely stay here again!

I loved the house. There was plenty of room for everyone (14 of us). I loved the location to everything. The golf cart was a great bonus. I only have two suggestions. One, put the sleeper sofa and daybed in the front living room for more privacy. Second, I would take out the bathtub in the master suite and put in a walk in shower ( we had to use the shower that was across from the kitchen). I would highly recommend this house and would rent it again.

The home was beautiful clean and well stocked we couldn't really get the golf cart to work properly but when we finally got it to charge they brought a new dead one while we were gone the coffee maker did not work..but overall get experience the home was great but the traffic in tht area was horrific

We had a great stay in the rental. It was spacious and fit everyone of my family members. We have only four complaints and or improvements to suggest. 1.) the rugs throughout the house hurt our feet. 2.) the fridge door always slung open 3.) one of the bedrooms had a hard bed 4.) the gulf card barely ran it was very slow. I did forget a personal item and they called me and promptly sending it to me. That was great of them!

We had a great week!. Everone enjoyed the spacious, homey atmosphere. There was plenty of sleeping room for all of us and lots of pillows and comfy blankets. The house is very well stocked (especially the kitchen) and the golf cart is an added bonus.(The only minus is that the toilet in the first floor common area was leaking around the base and required constant use of towels.)

The house location was great, the house itself could not have been better for our family of 13. I liked the little bathroom bags and welcome beach buckets they left us. The golf cart that was on the property was so nice to have..the kids loved taking rides. The house looks just as nice in person as it does in the pictures. The only suggestion is...because we ended up using all pull out took a while to find the sheets to use for those beds and the sheets were not fresh smelling. So maybe have those extra sheets available at eyes view and fresh when a big family books this house. Besides that the whole family really loved this place and I wouldn't think twice about rebooking if we visited Destin in the future. Thanks!!!

The house was very spacious and comfortable. Great location. However, the photos on the website need to be updated. It looked quite different in person, especially the day bed we were expecting to be 'inside' the Master bedroom was actually outside of the Master (in the living area).
The refrigerator needs to be looked at, the door does not stay closed (seal may need replacing?).

I call several times on Saturday spoke to David that was on call let him know that we did not have waist for the pools and that the bathroom stopper do not work.David said that he email someone they will call us never heard from anyone.Call again on Sunday David answer the phone explain everything again to him .He said he will email someone again. I believe there may have been a misunderstanding between the guest and Platinum. After speaking with this guest personally, I explained that some issues require owner approval and we couldn't just replace the mattresses without authorization to do so from the owner. Never once was it stated that we couldn't help her because she left or that we wouldn't address any issues. On a positive note, the owner is in the midst of upgrading this unit now and I'm sure future guests will be pleased with the new finishes.

This house was amazing. We were 14 and had enough bedding to sleep. The house also had large pots and pans for large family meals. We enjoyed the having access to the beach within 1 to 2 miles!!!!! The agency managing the rental house was great and I never had a problem with them. We never had the time to enjoy the patio since the house had plenty of seating sofas and televisions.

We rented this house with my parents and my husbands parents. We had a total of 7 people and we had plenty of room! The house has a very "unique" layout and at times was difficult for the "elders" to walk into the kitchen because it was raised. The pool is quite a walk, but you can always hop in your car and get there too! the neighborhoods are gorgeous and it gives you a residential feel rather than a vacation feel. There are small flaws within the house, but we were told it was one of the oldest houses in the community (nearly 30 years old!). Overall, it was a beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay at 24 Sandestin Estates.

The house was very nice and large. We had plenty of room for our family of 10. We loved that we had a dining table to fit the whole crowd!! Everyone had their own space. We did have a problem with the condensation line on the A/C but as soon as we reported it -- the problem was fixed. It is an older home but was nice and clean and beds were very comfortable and A/C was very good. Our family had a great vacation here and will be back!!

Nice location, very spacious house. The layout is really odd. Be sure that you are really close to the people you stay with because you have to go through the main bed/bath to get to the other bedroom. If you are a cook, this is NOT the house for you. We brought a lot of food to cook so we would not have to go out a lot with the kids. The pots/pans are very old, warped and scraped. There was food stuck on them when I got them out of the cabinet. I love to cook, and needed good cookware/utensils to prepare our food, and that was not an option at this house. Also, not BBQ grill was a major negative for us. The house is dated and somewhat cluttered with nick-nack type things, but overall it was o.k.
