"Lovely condominium. Very spacious and open. Nicely updated. We enjoyed Thanksgiving with our adult children, each had their own bed and attached bath which is very nice and the convenience of the golf cart for getting around the resort to enjoy the amenities. We enjoyed the unit and will try to book again next time.

"We stayed 2 months in this condo, first reaction walking thru the door is its
Bigger than it looks in the pictures. Very Nice screened in patio with azalea bushes surrounding the porch. Bathrooms are very updated. Separate ice machine came in handy many times, we only slept in master bedroom, bed is more on the Firm side, but I grew to like that level of Firmness in a mattress. The whole back of unit is windows surrounding the dining room with double French doors out to the screened porch, very nice to leave open on a nice day. When we first arrived the golf cart would only make it a mile or so on its charge, so we complained and to our surprise a company came 4 days later to put brand new batteries in it, from that moment on, you can take it for a 10 mile ride and it will still have over half it battery power left.
The dryer and washer are in need of replacement, the dryer would take hours to dry towels, I suggested cleaning the venting to the exterior, hopefully they took our advise?
Overall, it’s a small company, with nice people and we will continue to rent from them every year!

"The condo is a very nice condo, well decorated and laid out very nicely. Unfortunately, there were painters working on the day we arrived. Their trucks took up four of the parking spaces, including the trailer that they left all week long. They had plastic sheeting over all of the windows, therefore, we were unable to see outside our entire trip, sunlight blocked off from coming in the home. The master bathroom toilet, while it worked fine, would continuously run. So we were forced to turn the water off to it and use one of the other bathrooms. The bathroom that was dedicated to the other bedroom didn’t flush very well, so rather than take any chances, we strictly used the middle bathroom by the kitchen. Otherwise, this stay was very enjoyable, the golf cart came in handy multiple times. We would consider staying again.

"The condo is beautiful and very well stocked. (There were FOUR coffee pots!) It was clean and comfortable, although a few small updates are needed. The patio, however, needs a lot of work. It was dirty and full of bugs, both alive and dead. Not sure if that's the fault of the rental company or the cleaning crew, but it definitely needs some attention. We just walked through it to take our dog out, and that was the extent of our time on the patio. The mosquitos at both entrances were horrible. I know it's Florida but seems like such a large resort would have something in place to help with that issue. Ants also enjoyed our dog's food bowl being on the floor, so if you bring your dog, don't leave its food down on the floor for very long. I kept wondering why ours wasn't eating her food, then I realized that her food was full of ants. Perhaps it was just time for the exterminator to come, but the ants seemed to appear out of nowhere, and then disappeared just as quickly.
We know the owners and will give them a full review of our stay at their condo and the rental company, but overall, it was clean and decorated beautifully. The location was also convenient to everything, although a little crowded. We enjoyed our stay.

"This is our 2nd year in a row staying at the exact same rental. We enjoyed it so much last year we decided to stay here again. We did have a few issues with roaches on the couch and in the bedrooms.
The closet door in the first bedroom was broken both times we've stayed there, but we kept away from it. Pretty bummed that the ice machine was not working either.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and the amenities provided. Thank you!

Very disappointed in this property

"We have been renting this particular unit for the past 5 years. The unit from the outside in is not appealing at all. From the moment that you arrive, it is easy to trip over all of the golf cart charger cords, trip on lose and cracked tiles, see construction debris, roaches, litter and unattended flower pots.. The welcome mat was filthy inside and out. The golf cart key, hung on a hook, right inside the door. It was disgustingly filthy. The kitchen was not equipped very well, no working ice machine, (spent a fortune on ice), and sadly, roaches on the counters and floors. The shower faucets are hard to regulate as well. we bring our family here very year, and spend over 600 dollars a night, not a good use of our resources. The unit definitely is tired and needs to be updated, but that is not what will keep us from renting again. If I could be candid it is the general upkeep of the entire unit and surrounding property that is in jeopardy. I always give great reviews if deemed appropriate, but it wouldn't be fair to you if I sugar coated this review. Very sad

"We go at least once a year to Sandestin for a winter getaway. We have enjoyed many places in Sandestin over the years, and 5296 Tivoli was another good experience. The property was very roomy and very comfortable. It is in a great location, being in a lower density area and pretty quiet even during spring break. We liked having access to our own neighborhood pool as it was never too busy and the newer golf cart was great and in perfect working order. There were a few maintenance needs, as there are in most rentals, but nothing that interfered with our stay. We really like working through Platinum Vacations, they make it so easy, their communication was great and responses to questions were immediate. The mobile app makes managing your stay so easy. We will definitely rent through Platinum again!

"The condo is stunning! Plenty of room for our family to spread out & all the amenities you could want. The golf cart was awesome for rides to the beach, nearby dinners, Baytowne Wharf, Grand Boulevard shopping, etc. We were also extremely satisfied with the communication & service provided by Platinum Vacations! The staff was friendly & readily available throughout the week to answer all of our questions that arised. We would stay back here again in a heartbeat! "We had 4 adults and 3 children for our stay and the villa was perfect! Very spacious and beautifully furnished! The only thing to improve would be the mattresses on the king and queen beds. The twin beds were perfectly comfortable. We loved being on the beautiful golf course, but would have loved to be closer to the beach. Having the golf cart was great! The ladies at Platinum Services were wonderful and so nice to work with! We would definitely go again!

High Grades For This Place

"This was our 11th year in San Destin and have stayed in 3 different units, 10 years booking with Platinum Services. Had a 2 SMALL issues and someone was there within hours. The place was airy and well maintained. There was everything you needed and fun to watch the golfers and the people move around the main road to the beach or where ever. The only thing I would recommend is that some of the bushes be trimmed lower and the trees trimmed higher, This would open the area to a more open viewing area and allowing more sun in. The place could also use a larger patio table. We went out and bought a collapsible one that we took home with us, for the one provided, was hard to serve a meal for 2 on. Other than this, it gets HIGH grades in every area!

Great Family Getaway and a Lifetime of Memories

"The condo was perfectly accommodating for my family, consisting of three couples and three young grandchildren. The expansive ceiling height, an entire wall of windows looking onto the golf course, beautiful decor & updated kitchen gave the condo a luxurious feel. My family was very impressed and we felt kinda spoiled.

We drank coffee each morning on the screened in porch and watched golfers through a buffer of old palms and oak trees. Being on the first floor, we could exit the porch directly onto the lovely grounds and walk to the beach, which was about a ten minute brisk walk.

However, I preferred to hop onto the golf cart because those things are so much fun!!! We drove it to the nearby grocery store, to restaurants, through Baytowne Wharf, and found a little secluded island with a playground and a private beach. Talk about fun!

We cooked every night because my son bought a ton of fresh seafood from a local market. So much cheaper than dining out. We baked brownies, popped popcorn (I brought my own popper), threw together a big pot of soup; biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast... a lifetime of wonderful family memories.

The negative aspects: housekeeping missed a few spots on the floor and windowsil, but nothing drastic. I had asked management on day one to send housekeeping back, but they never did come. Not a big deal, really.

All of the windows were locked shut. We couldn't enjoy the beautiful Florida breezes. That was actually a big disappointment. Especially since we were cooking a lot and wanted some ventilation. We opened up the doors to the porch, and that helped.

The microwave made an aggravating buzzing sound. We had maintenance come that first day and we decided to just unplug the microwave until we needed to use it, which was rare.

Needs a fresh coat of interior paint, thorough cleaning of the furniture, mattresses kinda cheap, & screening on porch is in disrepair.

Immaculate property, but....

"The property looks exactly like the photos. The home was immaculate. However, the patio could use some attention an updating. It was dirty and the furniture made me itch just looking at it. The patio is the only reason I gave a 4 star rating. I would've liked to use it, but just ignored it for the duration of my stay.

"The overall condo was nice. When we arrived we noticed that the ice maker was not working and the lights over the dinning room table (chandilier) would not turn on. The kitchen cabinet was separatig from the wall and looked like it may crash down. We call to report and were told they would send someone. The next day a repair man came and turned the ice maker on and nothing else. We call a second time to no avail.

Dear Mr. Van Geffen, We are very sorry the commercial ice maker was not functioning during your stay. We immediately called the appliance company to have this repaired. The part that was needed had to be ordered so this was not an immediate repair. I am glad there was a second ice maker for you to use in the fridge temporarily until the part came in. If we had known about the chandelier, we would have immediatly shared that it is in a tricky spot behind the drapes. With a simple phone call or on our app we have FIX IT FORMS , then we could have advised the guest of where the switch is located. The cabinet issue requires a certified contractor , not just an maintenance person. We notified several of our contractors and they have now been to the property. The issue is being repaired. I wish we could have someone come over at a drop of a hat however; we are at the contractors mercy. For this , we do apologize. From time to time vacation rentals do need repairs in the peak season. Also, I do wish Mr. Van Geffen you could have shared your over all experience with Platinum Vacations of Destin since you are a guest that has stayed with us for years. It is unfortunate that this particular visit had some mishaps. Over the years we have striven to make you and your families vacation a pleasant one and we have never had any issues. "Everything was great with our experience even though we encountered a tropical storm for a few days. Communication with the rental company was great and the app helped keep everything in one place. The unit was as described and easy to find. We had a couple of issues when we couldn't find a switch to get the dining room table light to work. This wasn't an issue until the storm kept us inside. The pool was also closed down on Tuesday due to an electrical problem and didn't open back up until Saturday. There were other pools to use on the bay side of Sandestin but nothing on the sea side. When you have rental units, you would think that the homeowners association would be a little more diligent in getting the pool fixed expediently. This situation was also worse due to the fact that the double red flags posted allowed no swimming in the sea so everyone wanted to be at the pools which left the two on the bay side overcrowded. The only other problem was that the patio and grill were filthy. I don't think the grill has ever been cleaned, and the furniture and floors were extremely dirty.

I would have liked more than 2 dish towels for doing dishes and 1 hot pad to get things out of the oven, A couple more serving spoons and a better skillet would have been nice. Otherwise, the place had everything we needed for the week.

"The property could have been cleaner as we encountered cobwebs, ants and rolly-polly bugs all about. We did not want to call for maintenance or exterminators as we don't use chemicals in our own household. Thankfully we had Young Living Essential Oils with and they stemmed the tide of ants. As it was rainy most every single day, the very slick and broken tiles to the entrance posed a hazard for safely entering the condo. In addition, there was a golf cart next to ours that was in disreputable shape with some other garbage just lying about it. We have loved each stay at various condos within Tivoli by the Sea, but the properties seem to beginning to show their age.

"Nice unit but:
cleanliness was not the greatest
grill was unusable
kitchen was advertised as fully stocked but was not the case. We had to buy a large pan for cooking.
DVD players did not work.
The location was great as well as use of the golf cart. SanDestin is a great destination. Next time we will look for a different unit.

Not well maintained

"Inside the condo was dirty, mold growing on bath tiles and back patio. Numerous lights didn't work, we didn't have any wash cloths or hand towels, grill is totally rusted and falling apart. Sofa is broken on one end. Our over all experience with this condo was such that we will never rent this unit again.

We were very surprised to see the remarks concerning this lovely villa at Sandestin. It is our goal to make sure our guest have an enjoyable vacation at the resort. If our office had been notified in any way then we would have gladly sent our cleaning crew back over to take care of any issues . We pride ourselves on customer service, which so far with this unit ,have been outstanding. Just look at the previous reviews where Platinum Services has excellent ratings. Our office is located just a mile and a half away from the resort which allows us to handle any cleaning and or maintenance issues very quickly. We have an app that allows guest to report anything immediately upon arrival of any issues with the unit. As mentioned , we never received a call, email, and or any photos of what the guest described. We hope that in the future anyone that needs assistance or has a request would notify our office. We cannot correct any issues without knowledge of it occurring. I truly was surprised of these comments since almost all guest notify us immediately of any issues. We just wish this guest had in order for them to enjoy their stay.

"property description said beach view, well to see the beach was impossible from this location. actually we had to ask directions to the beach.unit was in excellent condition and we enjoyed it. pool was nice about five minute walk.

"We had a wonderful Spring Break at Tivoli by the Sea. The home was beautiful and fit our family and friends perfectly!! The house was decorated nice and comfortably furnished. I would highly recommend this property for large families or multiple families. The only downside I could find is parking...which was a little limited, but we made it work.
