"There was a pre-arrival issue on the unit we originally had rented, but Platinum called us two weeks before we arrived and more than took care of us on the issue, even upgrading us. We've been coming to Destin twice a year for 35+ yrs and Platinum has earned our trust and we will continue to rent through them from here on out. The unit 5257 Tivoli was very good with plenty of space for our two week stay. The condo was clean and furnished exactly how we needed it. Our daughter/son n law/grandkids stay with us the first week and more than enough room for us all, in fact with just my wife, myself and our Schnauzer the next week it was actually more than we needed. The golf cart is also a plus, we will probably rent this unit again. Thanks Platinum!

2nd stay and much better!

"This was our 2nd stay and I can say it was a much better experience than our last at this location. The townhome/condo is freshly painted and we had all the cooking utensils we needed for family breakfast, and dinner (after a day of fishing!). Everyone was comfortable in the rooms for a good nights sleep after a beach day, or day on the boat. We continue to look in this area for our vacation home. The electric golf cart has a bit of rust on it, so watch for that for passengers and may be due for some new batteries. Screen area in back is nice, but bugs do get in due to screens being loose in areas. It was however perfect for getting to and from beach.

"We enjoyed every second of our stay at 5257 Tivoli By The Sea. Plenty of room for our whole family! The 6 seater golf cart was amazing to help us run around the property and get to the beach! The resort and ground are beautiful and the beach is perfection. We would highly recommend this property and we plan to come again next year! The only few tho HS that are needed are:
More trash bags if someone is staying 8 days!
The broom does not have a dust pan
Better instructions on where you can/can’t drive the golf cart and where the tunnel is located to get to the other side of the resort.

Nice place with a few issues

"The property was very nice. It was clean and had great space. The tram DID NOT run on time. There was a pick up just across the street from this property. A tram was supposed to come every 20 minutes. We often waited over an hour for the tram. When we called the number listed to check its location, were were told "they will be there shortly." We were also told we would have gym access, but didn't. Parking was sometimes tricky, as there weren't always spots available.
The check in/check out process was effortless. The furniture was very nice and everything was comfortable.

5 Star Vacay

"Lets just say the experience began when we walked through the door. We were greeted with the sounds of soft music playing throughout the house. Everything was impeccable and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The bedrooms were beautiful and had extra blankets and pillows in the closet. There where three full bathrooms which allowed for everyone to have adequate bathroom time. The upstairs loft was also a great surprise. There are two twin beds and a sofa. This location is maybe a 2 minute ride from the beach. I wouldn't suggest walking but there is a golf cart that can be rented for an extra fee. The location is also perfect if you plan on visiting the pool. It's literally steps away from the house. You can't go wrong with this rental.

"warm! Property is in a great location, right by the pool, walking distance to the ocean and a quick drive to the warf! This unit had the nicest living room and dining room we have seen. Slept 8 very comfortably! Master bathroom was huge, but very pink! Would definitely stay here again!

Family Destin vacation

"I rented 2 units. An upper and lower to accommodate 14 people. They were both as advertised and as I know expected. Very clean and plenty of space. My only complaint is we couldnt check in until 4 on Sunday and had to check out by 10 on Saturday. In reality that is only a 5 day stay! I'm used to Sunday to Sunday rentals.

"This is our 7th year of spending the first couple of months in Sandestin each year. We have come to feel it is our second home. 5257 Tivoli by the Sea is a nice unit that we have felt very comfortable staying in. We like the location and the layout of the unit. We had members of our family come down for Spring break this year and the unit was perfect. Platinum has been good to work with and responsive to any maintenance issues. We are renting through them for next year.

"We had a wonderful family vacation at 5257 Tivoli! We loved the size of the condo and the grounds were well kept. If we stay at this property again, we will look for a unit that also provides a golf cart. Our unit could use some updating....needs to be painted and carpets were worn and dirty. Jacuzzi in master did not work, but didn't want to waste vacation time waiting on repairman. We love Sandestin and will be back!

We could have arranged for someone to come by when you were out at the beach or visiting other attractions in the area. I completely understand not wanting to be disturbed but we want all our guest to experience the vacation they have worked so hard for. I know this villa does not have a golf cart but does come with the free shuttle. It so happens that the owner of this villa has another villa with the same floor plan that does have a 6 person golf cart. The unit number for future reference is 5259 Tivoli by the Sea. If you want a property will a golf cart make sure to book well in advance. These properties book quickly. You can also search for villas at our website. You can filter the search to only look for golf carts. We have many properties that have them. In reference to your comments about the tired look of the viila, it is the end of our peak season and most all properties have this same issue. We analyze all of our properties after peak season and anything that needs to be done , will be done in the approaching off season. I agree some painting and a few other things need to be done to this villa after a very busy summer season. We are making plans now to start this work after Labor Day. "-Dryer is taking over 2 hours to dry a load of clothes.
-Kitchen needs some basics...measuring cups, pot holders, dish towels.
-Stayed in another unit last year, same building - chairs and beach stuff provided were a definite plus.
-Neighbor below is a total *****. I'm not telling my kids to be quiet on a vacay. She needs to get over it.
-Would select a unit with a golf cart next time.

"Overall, we were very pleased with the rental. Some of the dishes were not clean and we found trash behind furniture and under the bed. However, the location was perfect. We were near the beach and a quick tram ride to Baytowne Warf. The pool was nice as well, and it is right across the street.

Home away from home

"We had a great time. The rental was spacious. We were never on top of one another. 8 people comfortably stayed here. The showers were plentiful as was the hot water. Our only complaint was the master bedroom. It NEVER got cooled off. We had maintenance out and he couldn't figure it out. We slept with four fans blowing on the bed to not sweat to death.
