"I enjoyed this townhouse for 5 nights in June 2024, I go to Miramar every year with my family, and this has been one of the best places I have rented. Clean, well equipped, excellent location and of course, the golf cart for our transportation to the beach side. The host attended my questions almost immediately, she is very professional. I hope to have the opportunity to rented it for my next stay in Sandestin.

"We enjoyed our stay at 5080 Beachwalk Way. The unit was well equipped and had everything we needed for our 2 month stay. The furnishings were comfortable and the beds had quality mattresses. I particularly enjoyed watching the pelicans fishing in the pond behind our unit. We will definitely rent this unit again.

"Our family came to Destin for the first time this week, but it won’t be the last. We will definitely rent 5080 Beachwalk again. The location was perfect, we used the golf cart daily, the kids loved fishing right out the back door, the pool was a 5 mini the walk if that, very clean. Highly recommend!!

Great location, property needs work

"I have stayed in Miramar Beach many times but booked this place for a holiday weekend, making the rate a bit higher than usual. I could tell from the pictures that it was not completely updated and was ok with that. However, we were not prepared for the strong mildew odor inside the villa as soon as we arrived. There were oddities about the rental including a vent that allowed anyone on the stairs to see into one bedroom, and the steep stairs. The front gate was difficult to latch and hung open most of the time. The back deck was so dirty we could not sit outside and enjoy the waterway behind the villa. The master bed mattress was uncomfortable. I think carpet in Florida is weird. The bathroom toilets were not clean. Overall, we spent very little time in the rental and enjoyed getting around in a golf cart, so it was ok but not worth the hefty booking price. Needs a deep cleaning and updates to justify the current rate.

"Overall another great vacation rental! We've stayed in this unit 3 times. The screen door has not worked properly during any of our stays so it should be fixed. Also, the toaster did not work so that was inconvenient since we cooked breakfast every morning. The gas grill should be was too dirty to use. The golf cart should have a cover so when it rains it does not collect water on the top of the cart that ends up on the passengers after a shower. Outside of those issues, everything else was good. We will return if those issues are addressed. Thanks!

Outdated rental in need to TLC

"The condo is in need of updates and a deep clean. The grout on the tile floor was black, rugs were filthy, dust on walls and ceiling, mold on back patio bricks and chairs, several pieces of silverware were dirty on the drawers and dirty dishes, paint is chipping on the front door, scuff marks on the walls, etc. There was a dead frog in the condo that had been there for awhile and missed by the cleaning crew. It isn't a welcoming or inviting feeling when you feel like the condo is dirty. The beach area is very crowded, hectic, and packed with people. While the area is gated, there are many condos and high rises all using the same beach access. It is not a private beach whatsoever. It was so crammed that we only went to that beach one day and the other days we drove to a public beach about 10 minutes away which was much less crowded and was more enjoyable but not ideal as we didn't want to have to load up all the beach gear into the car and drive to the beach. The pool area was nice but the water was so warm and not refreshing. The grounds and landscaping are well maintained. The golf cart was fun to use but it was disappointing we couldn't use it to go to the beach as planned. Check-in, check-out was easy.

"I enjoyed my vacation rental very much. I almost cried when it was time to leave. The rental was very clean when I got there because I always bring my cleaning supplies with me ready to sanitize. I didn’t need to do that here. Although, the ceiling fans could definitely stand a going over. The master bdrm mattress needs to be replaced because every twist or turn that was made, the other person felt it. It’s very soft. I reported the moment I got there the door handle on the downstairs bathroom was about to come off and the cute little lamp in that same bathroom didn’t work. The oven also could stand a good cleaning as well. Also one thing I definitely didn’t like was how dark it was outside. There are no streetlights!! One more thing lol parking was bad too. We came in two cars. Both cars could not park in front the rental. Sometimes one vehicle would be parked down the street. But outside of those minor issues, this is a great place to rent. It won’t disappoint! It was a little pricey but it was well worth it. I almost cried when it was time to leave. It felt like home away from home

"I am a repeat customer at Sandestin Resort because I have not been disappointed! This cute condo on the lake was no exception. My husband and I took a four-day jaunt in late August, so the price of the condo was at least half of what it normally runs. The summer crowds were almost completely gone - a great time to go! The condo was spacious, nicely decorated and well-appointed for our needs. My favorite aspects were the sitting area directly on the lake, listening to frogs and heat bugs at twilight; and the golf cart that came with the condo. I also enjoyed drinking coffee in the dining room beneath that beautiful greenhouse style window, looking out onto the enclosed front porch. Just lovely! We used the golf cart everyday, taking it to the grocery store, Baytowne Village, the amazing shopping area, and of course to the beach, only a five minutes away on the cart. If I could suggest some improvements to the owners, it would simply be replacing the carpeting on the stairs at some point in the not too distant future. Otherwise, the condo was wonderfully accommodating and comfortable and very conducive to a relaxing stay on the beach, which is exactly what i needed.

"Easy to book but you will be bombarded with information like signing a rental agreement via email, giving license information to use the golf cart, check-in and check-out policies, etc. I guess doing everything virtually is where we’re going, though. Check-out is a strict 10 am (you have to punch a code into the lock) or you’re warned you’ll be charged.) You also must take your garbage. Where am I supposed to take it? Neighbor couple was lovely and helpful. Upstairs tub clogged but we didn’t bother calling for such a short stay. It was overall fine. I just felt like we were going to mess up at some point and get fined. Added stress to my vacation. Email communication isn’t the best to develop customer service rapport.

"the property needs a little TLC. the furniture is outdated and uncomfortable, the bathrooms upstairs need to be updated, and the ceiling needs some work; the popcorn ceiling didn't bother me as much as the bare spots on the ceiling where the texture had fallen off. we had trouble with the golf cart; there are no instructions on the golf cart and we didn't know there were 2 plugs that needed to be connected so the cart wasn't charging, the next day the breaker was thrown so the cart didn't charge again; the property management company was really accommodating and gave us a replacement cart on our last day.
overall the place was clean and is in a great location!

"Great location for this 2 bedroom location! Nice view of a lake in the back and we really enjoyed the 6-seater golf cart that came with the rental. "The location of Sandestin Resort is perfect - midway between Destin & scenic 30A. Walk to the beach or bike. The pool is lovely! It's the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. The villa we stayed in is comfortable, however, it does need an upgrade on the living room furniture. It's beyond shabby chic...The new owners have made some improvements. We are going back!

"The down stairs toilet wasn't real clean but the rest of the unit was great.

There are air vents that in the other units had filters or screens in them but you can look through the vents and see into the upstairs bedrooms in this unit. Which was not a problem for my family but I could see where it could cause issues if nonrelated people where there.

"The property was clean. Although we are return guests, it has become apparent that the new owners will need to do some upgrades if they would like return guests, ie: living room furniture, dining room furniture, and upgrade the kitchen cabinets, floor and the same goes for the bathrooms, especially the second bath. The a/c needs to be looked at as well. An overall paint job wouldn't hurt. The location to the pool and beach are perfect and also to the Sandestin Shops.
