"We stayed at this property and unit in July. We decided to come back for spring break. It was yet again, perfect. It was newly painted since July, new rugs and new epoxy balcony floor. It’s our favorite spot now. Was not as crowded as summer but weather was definitely chillier. The unit was clean and perfect. Same experience we had in July. Can’t wait to return.

"This was an absolute gem of a place. We have visited other properties and resorts in the area in years past. This was by far the best. It was recommended to me by one of my clients and I just ran with that recommendation. They were super responsive to all my messages/texts prior to arrival. The unit was perfect location and the building was great with not too many floors. Elevator was super quick and newly renovated pool was spectacular. Unit was very spacious. We cut wait to return next year !!

Great Trip

"The place was clean, quiet and private. Right on the beach and security was there to insure privacy and safety. The location was very convenient to grocery and shopping which was perfect. Overall we plan to return again as our kids had a wonderful time too! The only thing I would strongly suggest is that there is hand soap at kitchen sink and at least one set of extra towels for both bathrooms and kitchen.

Great location and love the building

"As noted, the location and building are great. Our condo was adequately equipped but you can tell they are getting ready to sell it. All the appliances (dishwasher, washer/dryer) are dated and don’t work well. Not terrible, but it’s time. Also, the TVs are dated and don’t have the standard app availability. Decent for sure, but not great.

"Condo was clean however, several things needed attention. Curtains in living room needed to be replaced. Light outside door in need of repair.
It was very nice having 2 recliners in the living room. The building itself needed some attention. Wonderful time for relaxing and time to explore.&

"The building that our rental was in was in the perfect location. However, our unit was unclean, there was sand all over the floor as soon as we arrived. The unit is in great need of repair. Peeling paint on the patio and cracked tiles in the bathroom with haphazard repairs left me unimpressed. The unit comes with no more than 2 trash bags for a week long stay. There was rust and grime on the soap dish in the hall bathroom. There were rope lights hanging out of the kitchen ledges. It just looked like there needed to be many many repairs done. Instead, they just left it. The stove has knows that are so old that you can't tell what burner it turns on. It made it very difficult to use. The fridge has a sign on it saying it won't be completely cooled down for 24 hours. I'm not sure why the fridge isn't always at the cooled temp. The view was wonderful and the beach was pristine. We will be back, but we will not stay in the same unit.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We have staff on site 7 days a week to address any concerns you may have had if we were known about them (cleaning issues & haphazard repairs). We will address these concerns with our maintenance team and inspection team. We provide all of the starter amenities as you begin your vacation (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, detergents) however guests will need to shop to replenish their needs for the remainder of their vacation. The sign on the fridge regarding cooling mainly refers to guests who like to stuff a fridge with all warm items once they arrive instead of loading perishable items first then add in your bottle water or soda after time the fridge catches up cooling. "We could not stop talking about how much we loved our condo from our neighbors! Despite it being a busy summer holiday, our beachfront was not over-crowded as only members of the condo were allowed to set up their chairs. The pool amenities were wonderful as well, loved the LED night lighting!
The condo itself felt more spacious than the pictures. Our daughter was obsessed with the twin bed and kept talking about how comfortable it was!

"Primary Bed wayyy too soft uneven and lumpy. Hill in the middle of the mattress. One side sags down- provides no support whatsoever
Not enough places to hang towels, command hooks behind doors would help
Provide a stick vacuum or something to let guests clean up sand that didn’t get washed off with the shower. There is always sand
Unit is a little dated, could use some TLC but I understand it’s a high turnover type of property
Unit could be cleaner - mat in bathroom felt very icky - just pushed it aside. The unit just did not feel clean at all.

Providing a second beach chair would be nice. One is just a bit better than useless for a family of any size
Have I mentioned how awful the bed is? My gosh this thing is a disaster. My back will never be the same after this

Dryer just tosses lint around your clothes.

Overall I would stay here again if I had to. This particular unit wouldn’t be my preference. These towers wouldn’t be my first choice - but they would be the second.

Thank you Diana for the feedback. We have staff on site 7 days a week for any issues that may arise, including housekeeping. Our basic inventory of items in every property includes a vacuum but beach chairs are not a standard item. There is not enough space to store 6 beach chairs, the max occupancy for this condo. We apologize for this but we will replace the vacuum as soon as possible. We will communicate with the owner on updating the mattress in the Master bedroom. "Loved this comfortable and spacious condo on the 6th floor, the view was fantastic! Great balcony where we ate all our meals. Nice newly renovated pool area at this complex.
The management company (Platinum Services of Destin) was the most friendly, professional, and responsive company with whom I've ever booked in decades of beach vacations, I really recommend them.
I agree with other reviewers about the worn condition of the mattresses in this particular condo: the owner should replace them, and their insufficiency would be the only reason I'd hesitate to book this condo again.

"Great location with nice furnishings! Property was clean and functional although it would be more helpful if there were certain basics provided in the space (coffee filters, sugar, salt, pepper, etc.). Only issue we had with the property was that the pictures online show a basket of soaps and shampoo in the bathroom but only one bathroom had these - not both despite the pictures in both bathrooms. The check in and check out process was easy - love the automated technology.

"Everything about our stay at Beachside One this past August was great. We started off needing to adjust our days due to our schedule, and they were completely accommodating to make it work for us. "This is a nice condo in a great location. we esp enjoy the comfortable balcony and its furniture. We rent through Platinum and they are amazingly responsive. We mentioned the master bed squeaked annoyingly and they replaced the box springs! We are coming back for a third time, and really it feels like coming home every winter.

"The unit was very clean when we arrived. It has a great view and wonderful balcony furniture, but the balcony light didn’t work and maintenance told us it wasn’t the bulb and they didn’t know what was wrong with it.The AC worked great. We never had to wait for an elevator and both worked during our stay. The bed in the master is pretty awful. It makes loud noises every time you roll over and you can tell it is worn by the huge divots on each side. It really needs to be replaced. Also, there was no blow dryer in the unit at all. I found this to be odd. I called to inquire if one was supposed to be there and was told only if the owner puts one. The master shower did not drain upon our arrival but maintenance came promptly and fixed that issue. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the bed really needs to be replaced.
