"This is a beautiful and convenient place to enjoy paradise!! Everything was clean, easy, and worry free! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and place to stay for our first trip to Sandestin!! I could go on and on about how much we loved the condo but just believe me that everything was perfect & when traveling with 2 teenage boys that means a lot!! We will definitely be returning and bringing our very large extended family with us! It was a wonderful memory for our family!

Great beach front stay!

"Perfect condo for a family of four! The ocean front property was awesome. We loved sitting on the terrace overlooking the ocean and drinking our coffee in the morning. The overall property was very nice - especially the brand new pool and hot tub area. The walk way to the beach was easy access and had a great place to sit in the evenings. The condo itself was well laid out and fit our family of four perfectly.

"The space was beautiful, comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. We stayed during an extreme heat wave where all people were asked to monitor their thermostat and the unit was a little warm, but each bedroom came with a fan so we were perfectly comfortable for the entire stay.

"Just returned. The unit is very nice and has a good view. The problem was that the washing machine did not work --filled with water and stalled. We had to pull our wet clothes out and rinse them in the tub. Then the dryer took over an hour for the load to even semi dry. Need new appliance. Kind of tainted the entire stay as the freezer was not cold enough but a call to maintenance was able to correct.

"It was just as glorious as the description if not more! Upon arrival the TVs were playing music, and you are drawn in by the view of the beach out the patio door. It was clean and well stocked. We’ve stayed at the complex before and love the easy beach access and less crowded beach (the properties on each side are more crowded than Beachside One). The beds were very comfy and the AC works great! The master bathroom is spacious with a regular corner shower. We loved this condo and would stay here again! Miramar is less crowded than Destin. You can choose to stay in Miramar or go a little west to avoid to tourist traffic of Destin, but Destin is super close also (traffic was pretty busy).

"Condo unit: This unit was clean, fresh, open, roomy, well equipped and had a beautiful view. Check in and out was easy. All done by keypad.

Condo: The pool was just renovated 7/3/21 and was modern and relaxing. The condo is on a private beach (with security). During the busy time in July we actually had space around us on the beach and in the ocean which was not the case for the surrounding beach area.

Location: This condo is on a lovely property that offers putt-putt golf, golf, tennis, basketball and many trails for running or biking. You can easily drive to the Publix grocery, restaurants and the main area of Destin. If you don't want to drive hop on the ffree tram/shuttle and head to Baytown Warf to shop, eat and drink. Also, you can take short walk on the beach to The Beach House restaurant which offers live music good food and drinks.

"Had a great time at this location. The view is fantastic and it's easy access to the beach. Nice to be close to the bottom because the elevators can get very busy at times. Only recommendation would be to put a louvered vent on the guest bedroom. In order for the living area and master to be comfortable the guest bedroom gets too cold. Overall great experience.

"The room was great, bummer about the pool not being finished, beach was close enough to condo makes for easy travel. Only issue is TV needs to have access to Smart Tv features. Who watches Direct TV anyways. I thought everyone streamed like Netflix and Prime and Hulu. Other than that small thing all other pets of this trip were AMAZING!

"Nice unit in a gated community. The unit could use some updating, but was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our beach getaway comfortable. Very comfortable beds, a nice view of the water, and the kitchen was well stocked. We were surprised to find that the dryer did not work well, since another guest mentioned the same thing late last year. The washer and dryer unit definitely need updating. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay and found the rentals experience very straight forward and hassle free.

"When I arrived, my condo was very welcoming! The lights were on, and music was playing on all three TVs. After a long drive with only one stop due to Covid, I was very happy to feel I had arrived in a safe and clean place. The view is amazing! Even on chilly days, I could dine al fresco on the balcony, and look for dolphins. The kitchen is well appointed, but a new stove may be needed very soon. Also, it’s time for the washer/dryer to be replaced. The beds were comfy, and everything was very clean.
The staff at Platinum were great, and always very quick to respond!
I would definitely stay here again!

"The condo is on the beach with the pool and jacuzzi in the same building. The beds are comfortable and everything tourist is close, possibly we would stay again.
Things that were not right the blainds of the entrance that is only on and when you open the door and it is windy everything falls, also that I had better knives for cooking because they have no edge The dryer takes hours to finally dry the clothes. The floors is greasey in the kitchen

"This rental had a cockroach problem. I emailed the platinum vacation rental after killing 4th one after 3 days at the condo but didn’t hear back (they were huge too)!! Also, two out of the 4 burners didn’t work on the stove and toilets had flushing problems. They only give you two wash cloths for a 6 person rental. The beds were good and living room furniture good. We will rent from a different condo in the resort, as we liked the area and beach access.

"This was a nice unit. Good location and very clean. However, there were no celining fans located in any of the rooms and the Air just never felt that it was as cool as it said it was in the unit. We were diligent about keeping the patio door closed and blind closed to keep it cool. So sleeping at. Ugly was miserable. They did provide 1 oscillating fan but we had to share the fan and swap it from room to room. I definitely will pay attention to the details a little more and always look for ceiling fans. Also, Beachside 1 needs a ramp down to the beach!

Nice, but.......

"Condo was exactly as described. Plenty of room for family of 4. Great views. Beautifully decorated. But, on day 1 had to sweep up floor due to sand (but we were at beach); had bugs...huge ones and long creepy crawly ones, and on last day pool was closed due to maintenance and we could not visit "sister properties" b/c each property is privately owned. Apparently you can't walk nextdoor to Beachside Two..our bad luck. I didn't contact Platinum abt bugs until checkout b/c I didn't want to have fumigation going on while there. We just kept eye on things and zipped up our luggage. Other than those things, place is nice and we felt safe. Security was a constant presence. Big plus.

June happened to be the wettest month we have ever seen, the pesty insects have been an issue for many properties. We have had this condo treated for any future guest. Also note that there is fumigation that is not an hazard to anyone. I wish you would have called so that we could have resolved the issue quickly. Also, do know that there are 2 other pools on the bay side of the resort that could have been an option for you to visit. They are owned by Sandestin Association and anyone can use them. Please at any time if you have any issues , just let us know. We have a full time housekeeping department and maintenance staff that can handle any request a guest may have. "Repeat visit to the same unit. As we get a little older we've decided we need a unit with fewer steps to the beach. Beautiful beach - it was more crowded than expected but it was fine. Loved the unit but next visit will have to investigate a different location.

"We had a wonderful time in Destin, and Platinum made this completely stress-free for us! Beachside is a very family-friendly place. The condo was beautiful, clean, well-stocked and we loved the view! The pool was amazing and we appreciated the staff constantly monitoring the area.

*Tip for families with small children: If you want to go out to a restaurant for dinner, make sure you get there by 4:30. After that, traffic is difficult and parking is a problem.*

We had a fabulous summer vacation and would absolutely stay here again!

The company drops off and picks up the bikes for free and offers a substantial discount. However, the cost is not included in the rental fee.

"We were actually given this condo after the air conditioning in the original condo we booked went out (before our arrival). This condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The views from the master bedroom and balcony were amazing! Walk down to the beach was easy and convenient. The air circulation in the master bedroom is not the best and it got a little warm even with the provided floor fan, but it wouldn't hold me back from staying here again. The bed is very comfy! The two twin beds in second bedroom was perfect for our kids! We will definitely look to stay here again next year!

"Very convenient to just walk out to beach so quickly. Did not find any beach chairs, umbrella, etc though. Beautiful views- very nice staff. The master bedroom stayed warmer even with the drapes shut all week. So we did not get to enjoy the views from the bedroom. But we were loaned a fan from maintence/repairmen to help circulate the air. It wAs much appreciated. The condo was in excellent condition.

"We come to Sandestin every October and love it! This unit was very nice and updated. The only thing I would like to see added would be ceiling fans. It was hotter than normal and ceiling fans would help in the living room and master bedroom. Otherwise, it was great!

Amazing Weekend Getaway

"Condo was furnished with everything we needed. Could have used one more towel for showering. The only problem we encountered was that the keys were sticking in the lock. I guess because of the salt air. Otherwise great. Beds were comfy and the view was amazing.

"This is a VERY nice condo in Beachside One. Good location. Easy to get to the beach and Sandestin resort is Awesome. My list of positives are way too long, so I will list the few negatives.
1. The way the sun hits the condo makes it heat up during the day. Even with the curtains closed. At night the air conditioner does not have enough muscle to cool off the master bedroom. The rest of the condo gets cool, but bring a big box fan for the master bedroom.
2. To play tennis on the property is $17 per person per hour. ??!!?? I have stayed at other resorts not nearly as nice and tennis is either free or very cheap. ( $3 - $5 / person).
Thats about it. Water is fantastic. Village of Baytown Wharf is great.
I will stay here again, I will just buy a fan.
