Great time but elevator situation made it unpleasant

"Had a Great time but some time spent 20 to 30 minutes waiting on being able to get on an elevator. Just very aggravating and made trips coming and going from the room difficult. I would not recommend due to the elevator situation.

"This property was amazing, it had a great view and was very clean. It had a mold smell but the property managers quickly responded and brought an air purifier that was helpful. They were very professional and kept me informed.

"The unit was bright and cheerful and the view was amazing. There were some minor issues though. The down button for the elevator did not work on our floor so we had to ride up and then back down every time we used the elevator. We reported it the first day we arrived but it still wasn’t fixed when we left. The bathroom did not have a working lock on the door. The balcony door did not lock. Upon arrival my young daughter saw all kinds of wrappers and dirty socks under the bed so we had to throw those away. Overall, we loved the location and the view but probably won’t stay in this unit again.

Great Condo

"Upon arriving the condo was set up to greet us. Lights, music, a small gift basket, and toiletries were waiting for us which was a nice touch. It was clean and cozy. My only complaint is the rooms are so bright at night it was hard to sleep. I recommend some curtains. The bed was OK but not what I am used to, (my temperpedic mattress). Other than that we enjoyed the view and our stay.

"Condo was clean with a beautiful ocean front view of the ocean. The master bedroom bed needs to be replaced not good at all. The was hard and lumpy. Could not get a good night sleep. The bathroom sink clogged up needs to be fixed. The sink filled up with water everytime you used it and went down very slow. Other than that it was great.

"Absolutely beautiful condo, right on the beach. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. The only reason it received 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the furniture. I would say it is time to replace the mattresses and couch. The dining chairs did not seem plus-sized friendly (made of clear plastic). I did not realize this upon booking and was a little disappointed as well. Kitchen was stocked nicely. Patio had an amazing view that we enjoyed every day and night. We were thankful there was a beach umbrella in the condo closet- life saver!

"The condo was in a great location. The electrical devices were a little sketchy. Outlets were loose and rusty looking. The unit also had smaller tv’s. We had to buy hangers for clothes. The hideaway bed mattress was really rough to sleep in.

"Nice location, great views, and convenient. Condo is efficient, but not conducive to lounging around in...which was not a problem as we don’t hang out in the condo much anyway...furnishings are simplistic, and this condo is small, but practical for the $$$. Sofa in living area is pretty worn out and there is minimal extra seating to enjoy the inner confines of the condo...but as long as the weather is nice, who cares! Exquisite view from the balcony...easy parking access was a plus....the building and grounds are well maintained. Can’t say we would book this condo again, ....basically no frills but served its purpose. Price was we went with it. Beds are comfortable and everything about it was clean so no complaints there.

Comfortable Condo with beautiful view

"Condo was comfortable with a beautiful view. It was well stocked with plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. It had a nice updated bathroom and kitchen. The bedrooms were a good size and perfect for our family of 4. I really like that one bedroom at a king bed and the other had a queen. The view was great. I was a little hesitant to sit on the couch in the living area as it did seem to be a little tired and dirty but that wasn't a big deal considering you spend most your time on the balcony and beach.

Beautiful view

"This unit is described to sleep 6, it does not. It only sleeps 4. It states it has a sofa sleeper and it is just a couch. We were able to accommodate by making a pallet on the floor for the younger kids but if we were a group of 6 adults, it would have been a huge inconvenience. Property pictures show gas grills, they are charcoal. Other than that we enjoyed out stay. The view was beautiful while we watched dolphins from our balcony every morning.

"Overall, the trip to Destin was very enjoyable. You cannot beat the location of the rental. The balcony has a great view of the beach, and you are a short elevator ride to being steps from the beach. The Sandestin resort is great, as well. The condo is a short drive to Baytowne Wharf, which is a great area for drinks, food, shopping, and games for the kids. The condo is very kid friendly (we traveled there with three kids, ages 5, 5 and 6). Each room has a tv, which helped later in the night when you could put your kids in the guest room so the adults to have some social time. The only small drawback was one bathroom, but it wasn't that big of a deal.

"We had to move from Beachside Two 4266 because the bathroom was disgusting. I'm not talking dirty, but mold, mildew, rust, etc. I don't think anybody at Platinum would stay in there much less a guest. For the money we paid to stay there it was a joke. We ended up moving off the beach to a nice condo, but it was a major inconvenience.

"This condo has a wonderful beach view and great beach access, that is after all what we pay for. However, the condo it's self has poor lighting and outdated or worn out decor. I will always use Platinum Services for my Florida vacations but I will pick a different condo next time.

Really nice weekend stay

"Having stayed at Beachside II many times, we knew what to expect. This particular unit was well done and updated. The view was great and there was a large balcony. The only issue was the bathroom. It could use a vent for the shower area to relieve the moisture. And the toilet was not secured to the floor very well at all. Besides those minor occurrences, our stay was great.
