"Used hot tub and when finished the bottom of tub was full of dirt and grim from lack of use. All jets shoul;d be run to keep clean.

"The condo continues to be quite adequate in size and amenities. New washing machine is a pleasure to have. The vent hood needs replacement or repair as making toast or frying bacon will set off the smoke alarm compensated for by opening the door and tuning the ceiling fan on. Frige is dated as the ice maker has some hang ups such as overfilling which is compensated for by turning it off and on since if left on it spills ice into the lower part of the freezer. Occasionally produce freezes in the main part but this is not consistent. The dryer vent needs to be changed to remove the kinks that slows drying. This long dry time results in additional energy costs for someone and should be an easy inexpensive fix.

Spacious Condo We Really Enjoyed

"We enjoyed this spacious condo with high ceilings and comfortable beds. Platinum Vacations did a great job answering questions and helping on a few issues. A few things need fixing but I know it's getting harder to keep rental properties in shape and these things didn't have anything to do with our ability to enjoy the condo. The space was great and quiet with a good location. The kitchen was stocked with anything you might need.

We have been going to Sandestin for over 30 years and have always loved the property. We have not been in a few years but we were shocked at the crowds on the beach. This has nothing to do with the condo or Platinum Vacations but Sandestin has just got so big without a big enough beach area and they let anyone come in to the beach (not just owners and guests). If you want to sit right before the water, bring your own set up - the Sandestin chairs don't start until back from the water so you will have lots of people between you and the water.

If we return to Sandestin in the future, we would rent this condo again.

Father’s Day Getaway

"Our overall stay was good. This rental was on the bottom level, so there’s steps to enter the villa. Great location. One thing we didn’t like was the dog odor on the patio. We brought some deodorizer and cleaned the area real good, problem solved. The cleaning crew should be mindful to clean the outside sitting area better. The bunk bed frame was broken, I let the property manager know about it and they said they would get it fixed. The pullout sleeper was a little uncomfortable but manageable for sleeping. If you’re an older tenant reminder that the toilet seats are extremely low. It would be nice to allow tenants access to the garage and/or golf cart if available. Its a big resort and a golf cart would aid in exploring the property more. My family and I had a great time. I would stay here again.

"Overall Very spacious. Definitely needs newer bedding and blinds in master bedroom & pretty bad lighting. Also bedroom with bunk beds is very HOT. Couches weren’t clean. Would recommend a newer washer machine that one makes very loud sound. There is definitely not enough parking. & lastly found a roach our last night in kitchen..

"Rental was in a great location, easy access to main road and to the beach. Pool was close to the rental. It was a cute place, the furniture was pretty outdated and some of the appliances did not work. I would suggest updating the furniture, new comfortable blankets, new pillows (they were very old and uncomfortable), pull out bed for the couch is caving in at the bottom. Blender worked okay but is very old, beater did not work. Plenty of pots, pans and silverware. Washer/dryer worked but again very old. I think if they updated furniture it would give a
More modern look. I would recommend this spot for family vacation for sure. There is no golf cart although some other rentals on same property offer one. The gym is not included it is an additional fee.

2020 Miramar beach stay

"This unit is especially suited to our needs. The kitchen has all required equipment for a every level of cook. Unit was clean on arrival with arrival instructions right on. This unit had the carpet replaced with nice hard floors. This was a welcome change as one can now tell if the floors are actually clean. This unit is down a full flight of stairs so might be difficult for those unable or unwilling to make the climb on a regular basis.

"This vacation home was wasn’t the best, but wasn’t the worst either.
The location was great very close to the beach, restaurants, shopping areas, and groceries stores. Beautiful patio view to the golf course area.
A couple of areas of improvement or upgrades in my opinion?
Carpet need a deep deep cleaning, closet doors did not open and close properly, and kitchen appliances and TVs are a bit dated / old if I’m being petty.
Would I stay here again? Yes but wouldn’t be my first choice.
Overall my experience Ok.

"Overall a good experience. Everything worked and the unit was clean. Two very minor things I would suggest. It would be nice to have a light over the table and a towel bar or hook by the shower in the master bath. Also the shower in the other half of the unit is leaking a bit and needs to be sealed to prevent future damage. We had a problem with the vacuum when we got there but called and they took care of it. It is not a good vacuum but it did work. We called to reserve next year same time but haven’t had any response.

Platinum sent out an email to all winter guest about rebooking. At this time we do require a 2 months stay. In October we will start to take less than 2 months winter bookings. We would love for you to stay the full 2 months if possible. I am going to have reservations give you a call to see if we can work something out with your dates since the unit is still open. 5070 Pine Ridge villas review

"This was one of 3 properties rented for a family reunion. The location is convenient and the pool at Pine Ridge is great. The kids enjoyed the room with bunk beds.
The unit is carpeted which is difficult with sand. There were also several roaches spotted and a message was left with the property company but no reply was received.Also, the garbage disposal was not functioning.
Aside from this, the unit was well furnished, had a great location and was enjoyed.

"The main inconvenience was thereally was no privacy glass or covering ofor the front door. We had to clean under couches where there were dead bugs and sweep patio to clear cobwebs fromega doors and ceiling.

All the other areas were very clean. Beds very comfortable. Towels, bedding and pillows were spotless. Location of property access was excellent with beach and Baytowne Wharf across the street.

Could've been better...

"I stayed at the same resort last year and had no complaints what so ever so I came back this year. Different house, but I expected the same. Sadly I was wrong. The pillow cases had yellow sweat stains and sheets had dry blood stains. Anyways I washed the comforter and pillow cases on my own and the sweat stains came out. Very disappointed. I thought that's what we were paying for, cleaning service. Of course I called to complain, but simply got that only sheets were replaced every visit, that pillow cases and comforters weren't washed every visit. Not the answer I was expecting... No one likes to arrive to a bed with dirty sheets especially when I'm paying over $1,000 to stay at a resort.. Also, there were roaches roaming around the walls. Maybe it was the rain that brought them, but still, it's a resort... And then the rooms had no ceiling lights and used lamps to light up the room, but most didn't have light bulbs. After complaining we did get bulbs delivered to us, but I feel like all of these things needed to have been fixed prior to our arrival... Also the carpet had been cleaned because it was still wet, but stains were still very visible. I just hope we just got unlucky and got a bad house or bad cleaning lady, but I was not satisfied. If I go back next year I'll go back to the neighborhood where I was last year, not at the pine ridge...

"We had a wonderful time with our family during our week long stay. The weather and water were beautiful and the condo was super clean with everything we needed. Our teenagers used the shuttle service and we used a friends golf cart. We hardly ever left the resort.

First Winter Stay

"Overall we had a wonderful winter vacation experience. The villa is spacious with all the comforts of home. Located in a quiet neighborhood in the resort, it is convenient to the beach, shopping, and activities. Initially we did have some cleaning and maintenance issues that the property management company made every effort to resolve. One recommendation to the owners would be to replace the carpet. We were surprised at the number of scheduled winter activities in the area, especially enjoyed the Mardi Gras and Song Writers' festivals. Would recommend a winter vacation in Sandestin to everyone.

Not so great. . .

"Other than being a good size for a family and in a good location, this unit is not so great! Here are the issues: not enough light sources (bedrooms have one small table lamp - no overhead lighting or fan light kits, only one lamp in living room, no light in dining room, etc; felt like we were in a dark basement), dirty (we saw many roaches and other bugs in the unit - gross!), and overall the unit is outdated and just not a clean feeling place.

"We enjoyed our vacation greatly. We were disappointed in not have internet for two days because the id and password to the internet given to us in instructions were incorrect. Erika had to come out and get the information. Also, we rented this location so our teenage children could use the shuttle services which were largely unavailable. I would rent again if we could have a golf cart.

"Our vacation in Destin was awesome as always. The beaches were beautiful. The kids enjoyed parasailing, jet skiing, and riding their boogie boards. My husband and I had a great time on the dinner cruise. Our overall experience was excellent. We plan to begin spending at least ten days in Destin from now on because a week is not long enough.

Teamer Family Spring Break

"We arrived late in the day on Wednesday.....despite the fact that we arrived after the normal times, there were no issues with us getting the keys and gaining access to the condo.

The property was clean and immediately felt like home. We did have an issue with the wifi but after a call, the matter was resolved promptly.

We enjoyed our time and look forward to coming back next year.

"Condo was terrific and roomy. Well maintained on golf course with great walking trails and access to beach. Would rent again.
