Beachside II - okay stay

Overall, our stay at Beachside II was okay. The condo was nice enough. The bedroom needs more lighting and the condo does not have one single ceiling fan. The toilet handle was not attached and the doors to the washer and dryer are difficult to open and close. The patio light did not work either. We had an issue with the air and management sent someone out within a few hours to repair it. The actual building itself is not equipped to cater to handicap guests. There are codes to every door and steps with almost every turn you make in the building which is a huge overkill. There isn't even a ramp to the beach but three different flights of steps with a gate that requires a code. We had to carry our huge wagon up and down those steps during our stay and it was a huge inconvenience. We went during the off season and the beach was still really crowded. I can't even imagine how crowded it would be in the Summer. I wouldn't stay here again but it worked for our 3 day trip.

Beautiful room and very clean! Convenient room to get to the beach and pool. The only complaint that I would have was that the water to spray off your feet after walking in from the beach didn’t work on and off while we were there. Everything else was perfect! We had a great stay! I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or family member.

We enjoyed our stay at Beachside II. The view is beautiful and the unit was nice. However, the bathroom has a lot of black mold, the toilet paper holder and bath towel holder were not secured well to the wall and kept falling off. We had to reattach them often. The folding doors to the washer and dryer were difficult to open and the slats were falling out. We were disappointed by the conditions of the bathroom and the washer and dryer closet.

Mattress needs to be replaced. We had to add blankets and quilts under our sheet for padding to try to help. Couch and chair in living room were also very uncomfortable. Great views from balcony! Front door looked out over trash bin area though. Could smell it when entering or leaving condo.

My friends and I had a great time! I really have no major complaints. I didn’t even notice the “dirty” carpet that other people mentioned. My friend who slept on the pull out said it was really comfortable for a sofa bed. We did have to buy hand soap because there wasn’t any which I thought was odd considering Covid and everything. The view from the room is even better then pictured. We enjoyed our coffee on the balcony every morning. The beach was crowded everyday but that didn’t bother us and we still always found a spot. The condo is on the second floor which ended up being a blessing because there were elevator issues when we were so there was always a long line waiting for them. Having to carry all our beach gear and stuff up a bunch of stairs would have been a pain so I’m glad we were on the second floor. Overall our stay was great! We loved the location.

We liked the location and the covered parking garage. The carpet in bedroom was dirty and there was a cigar smoker in unit below us so balcony time was limited. Overall we enjoyed our stay but believe the unit was too expensive.

My wife and I snuck away for the weekend. It rained about 80% of the time we were in town, and we didn't mind one bit. The view is excellent and the photo in the ad does not do it justice, the unit is clean and very accomodating at least for our short stay. We would stay here again.

The location and amenities included with this place were great. The tram to Baytowne Wharf was an unexpected bonus. The unit was clean and neat. The only issue was the unit was promoted to have the air filters changed after every guest due to Covid. Our air filter was actually so old and clogged the AC went out for a night and a service guy had to come out and replace it. I didn’t appreciate that deceit. However, the process of getting someone out to fix it was efficient and prompt and very friendly. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall I will be staying at Beachside 2 again.

Very convenient location. You need a handicapped entranced between Seaside I & II buildings on the side walk. I had a scooter and had to pick it up

This was a great and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed our trip and plan to come again! The one negative was the mildew on the ceiling in the shower but other than that, a fantastic place to stay. So close to everything and a well stocked home.

This rental was very cute and nice. The location was very good as well. The only issues were that there was mold on the ceiling above the shower, the mattress was like sleeping on a piece of plywood, and there was no door to cover the hot water heater/laundry area which had mold growing on the wall behind it.

Right on the beach, didn't even have to wait for the elevator. Property was clean, but needed a bit of airing out. Kitchen was equipped nicely (apparently several folks had purchased wine tools). If you like a firm mattress, you're in business. Plenty of parking. We would stay here again.

The condo was very clean, and very comfy. 2nd floor in this building was very convenient. Only thing that could use attention is the dishwasher needs some attention, as the door doesn’t open and close very well, thought I might accidentally break it as the inside plastic casing is cracked. And the refrigerator is a bit noisy, thinking it was the ice maker. Other than that, great condo!

We had a very nice stay at 4216 Beachside Two. When we arrived the lights had been left on in the kitchen and the top of the coffee maker had melted. The property manager responded to this ASAP and sent over a new coffee maker. The condo was clean and had what we needed for a quick few days on the Emerald Coast.

We had a beautiful room with a beautiful view. It was convenient to the pool and beach. The only complaint we had was the bed was way to hard. We wouldn't choose this room again just because my husband and I both have bad backs. Everything else though was perfect!

The location and the view make up for some other things that were lacking with the unit. The lock for the patio sliding door was broken and wouldn't lock, garbage disposal didn't work, and the windows were pretty dirty..which obstructed the beautiful view from the bedroom. Also, the unit could use a really deep cleaning as we found a layer of dust on the headboard of the bed. However, even with some of these imperfections, I would absolutely come back and stay at this unit. The location, the view, the ease of access to pool..beach..parking groceries...and restaurants..make it worth coming back! See you next year!

We enjoyed staying at B'Side 2 It's a nice condo right on the ocean with plenty of space for 2 's a little tired inside and needs some updating! More hooks for towels in the bath would be nice. Overall, a good stay!

My daughter, 7 year old granddaughter and I spent 5 wonderful nights in this condo. Location was great, views of sea beautiful. Condo was comfortable and clean. Kitchen could have been better equipped but we made do. Would definitely consider this property for return visit.

The negatives: There are steps that you must use to get to your room so I would not recommend for anyone that can not lift their luggage. This was not an issue for us. The room did have a musk smell when we first entered but did not notice it for rest of our stay.
